GOALS AND NEEDS
Damiani Group, always attentive to technology and the positive impacts it brings to improving all business processes, decided to strengthen its digital transformation, which had already begun in previous years. With its brands already online and equipped with a Microsoft application stack and an ERP based on SAP technology, Damiani needed a connector capable of integrating its numerous and diverse business processes.
SOLUTION
Altitudo stepped in, proposing Microsoft Azure Integration Services as a solution to connect the SAP ERP, CRM, and the e-commerce platforms of the group’s various brands, with the goal of unifying all business workflows in a consistent, scalable, and fast manner. This solution allows the management of customer orders, regardless of the channel, in a centralized way, thereby increasing efficiency and optimizing processes. The Microsoft Azure Cloud platform also enables the activation of Analytics systems and the creation of applications based on data collected in the Data Lake.
Having a Data Lake that collects, manages, and provides access to this information effectively, flexibly, and in line with the business’s time-to-market needs is becoming increasingly critical. The platform and accelerators developed by Altitudo using Microsoft Cloud allow the activation of a solution capable of addressing the data integration needs from the company’s systems and processes. This also enables the rapid development of new, modern, and secure applications while supporting effective data analysis for Business Intelligence purposes.
Thanks to Altitudo’s consulting and support, the group also defined a future strategy: to expand the Microsoft solution into the Customer Data Platform (CDP) space and to enhance the use of Power BI as a business management tool for the entire Damiani management team.
